I've worked for an airline before, and I realized that although you have flight benefits (discounted or free travel), you can't afford to use them (financially or because of work schedule). What jobs require you to virtually live out of a suitcase? I would like to travel while I work 5-6 days a week.
What types of jobs allow you to travel extensively?
A cruiser, a travel company, trekking companys, guiding tours.
Stuff like that.
Reply:Try to work for a cruise line.
Reply:Join a C-130 (or another cargo plane based) Air National Guard Unit and become an aircrew member. You will get all kinds of travel opportunities....I promise.
Reply:The cruise ship industry is one way to go, but you could also get a sales person job, tech support, or even a tour director.
I had a friend who was in VoIP (Voice over IP) sales and traveled every day of the week.
Drug reps for company's like Smith Kline and Johnson and Johnson etc travel tons too.
Hope you find something!
Reply:Become a network engineer and you will travel all the time. Also you can do other tech work of similar nature. Check saic.com for job openings those guys are always traveling.
Reply:Saleperson's get hit the hardest. Second the police officer.
