I will be graduating with a degree in environmental planning soon and would like to know of other jobs (other than a planner) that would be recommended.
What jobs can you recomend to someone with a degree in Environmental Planning?
It depends on whether you prefer indoors or outdoors.
The Forestry Commission, the Ordinance Survey Dept, Road/Street planners (Local Authorities), Road/Highways Depts, Parks and Recreational, just as examples.

Reply:If I were you, I would get a copy of New Scientist, or go on their website to the jobs section. There, you can put in your discipline and it will have a load of jobs to look at.
I subscribe to it, and every week there's lots of environmental-type jobs, so worth a look to see what's available.
Reply:Shouldn't you have thought this through before embarking on a three year degree course.

Go to this site and look at some of the planner positions.
It looks like there are a lot of government jobs and engineering firms like Bio engineering companies for people who are concerned about our environment.
