I am wondering what courses to do at university and am interested in being involved in the music industry. However, i excel at maths, are there any maths related jobs in this area? Thanks!

Sound engineering / mixing needs maths
Reply:There are definitely films, television shows and perhaps even plays that have used mathematics consultants. The U.S. television series "Numbers" is an example. This involves mathematics at a different level than the arithmetic you would use in accounting. I am not sure how one makes a career of that, though, because I think they tend to use university experts.
Reply:Any form of accountancy, sale or buying i suppose - alternatively logistics as that is all maths related. many jobs involve maths at some level - why not see if any of the companies offer graduate programmes
