And what type of qualifications do i need for thses jobs?
What good paying jobs are hurting for people right now?
From around here (MN), there has been a need for a lot of nurses and production management position. But then this is just the cities areas. The Mayo Clinic is hiring a lot I say because I see a lot of their hiring advertisment. The problem is there may not be many people who qualifies for the positions. You probably already know the qualifications for these positions.
Reply:It is somewhat region specific and is based on your qualifications but medicine, law, and accounting are all growing fields.
Reply:From what I hear, none..In the area I Live in (NC) Jobs are really scarce and alot of people are out of work and unable to find a job. If one comes to mind, it would be the "Fast Food Industry" such as Burger King, McDonalds. I am always seeing "Hiring" in one of their Windows..
Reply:Anything in the medical field. Rn's are in high demand. A couple of years to earn an associates. Medical sonographer, billing specialist, medical coder, x-ray technician, vascular tech, cardiac cath lab.... All of these require at least a year of school. Some programs you could look into that will earn you a certificate are surgical tech(scrub in the docs and hold instruments), EKG tech, EEG tech, phlebotomist. You could look into medical assisting, that's an awesome job to have if you can get into a well established doctor's office. NO HOLIDAYS and minimum weekends.
Reply:Try NONE.
There are no good paying jobs anymore. Not since companies gutted the work force with low-paying jobs, illegal immigrants, cheap labor, and stagnant wages.
Reply:Nursing is always in need. As is teaching, though teachers don't mak much money. For nursing you would need atleast a 2 year associates degree to gain your RN license. Pay varies by region and field of specialty but you will typically start out in the $40,000 range.
