I have a current full-time job but my hours are such that I can't really take on a part-time job with set hours. I'm looking to become debt free and wonder what kind of jobs I can do from home in my spare time that will help me achieve that.
What kind of jobs can I do from home in my spare time to help pay down my debt?
You could try online teaching... something with a computer...

What jobs have been replaced by a form of information technology in the last ten years?
I see many human jobs are being replaced by technology, such as bank tellers, grocery store clerks, and customer service representatives.
What other jobs have been taken away from humans by machines and computers?
What jobs have been replaced by a form of information technology in the last ten years?
Many manufacturing jobs like automakers, tedious, repetitive and dangerous jobs. Telephone operators. Television stations in larger markets use automated cameras that can be manipulated by one person instead of a crew of five or six. Many radio stations are also automated in some fashion. You may not know that the DJ recorded the show, because it still sounds 'live'. Payroll departments are usually automated.
Reply:Receptionists for one.... most companies are going for automated telephone services. It's be sheer luck if you ever get to talk to a real, live human being anymore....

How can Obama support returning jobs and then call for open borders?
Are labor unions just dumb? How can they support a guy who wants to do nothing to secure the borders and yet turn around and tell UAW workers in Wisconsin that NAFTA was a mistake and he will get their jobs back.
Anything for a vote-Obama-strikes again?
How can Obama support returning jobs and then call for open borders?
I wonder about the Teamsters...aren't they for the truckers? Didn't Obama side with illegal and drivers licenses? Don't you think companies would hire the illegals to pay them less?
I can understand the SEIU, considering Rezko is involved.
Personally, I don't think the union members are that gullible.
And yes, you are right..Obama will do anything to get elected..even use words that elected other politicians. Pitiful and dishonest in my opinion!
Reply:Dr. Savage says that Liberalism is a mental disorder. Mr. O is the most Liberal Senator we have. Go figure...........
Reply:He has never called for open borders. Try again!
Reply:thanks for your opinion...we the american people will now be sending a "we don't give a ****" to you in the mail.
Go home tool.
Reply:Obama has the right plans for the country. He will create over 7 million high paying green collar jobs.

What are some decent paying jobs for someone with an associates?
I will have my bachelors in either December 08 or Spring of 09 in psychology.
I was just curious, and I know there probably aren't many(if any) but what are some of the higher paying jobs you have found or heard of requiring an associates or lower? Paying about how much?
What are some decent paying jobs for someone with an associates?
The key is in the FIELD--just an AA is not anything (nor is a BS/BA).
Associates in:
nursing
nuclear med tech
sonography
medical billing
x-ray tech
physical therapy tech
paralegal
computer science (ability to keep a network up and running or such)
accounting
all of those and more have real market value.
BS/BA in Women's Studies, History, Psychology, English, etc. have no market value--just shows you went to college.
Pay varies a great deal. To check job areas and pay ops in general go here and enter the job title:

How do you get sleep when working 2 full time jobs?
I know that I'm not the only CRAZY person in this world, but I am about to start working 2 full time jobs (9am-5.30pm %26amp; 11pm - 7am) as a Secretary and a Hotel Front desk Host. I've always had 1 full time and 1 part time job, so I'm used to distributing my energy that way.
How should I plan my day? Travel time (one way) to work is roughly 15 minutes. I can dress the same way to both jobs.
Help?
How do you get sleep when working 2 full time jobs?
There are some great answers here on this board. It's nice to see others have done this and survived.
Adjust your diet - lose the coffee, sodas, junk food. And if the energy drinks/power bars work for you, definitely consider them. Try to eat a good hearty lunch midday. Don't skimp on food.
I'm not sure your have scheduled enough sleep time. You're going to need a minimum 4 hrs of sleep, uninterrupted. "Trick" your brain - change into pjs, darken the room, cool temp not warm in the room, maybe even a sound machine if you can sleep with one. Devote yourself to that sleep time but don't rush into the house fullspeed and expect to sleep right away. I don't recommend sleeping pills of any kind.
Definitely trim your "prep" time down - short hair, little makeup, quick change clothes. And do eat breakfast
Good luck and take care of yourself...
Reply:Hi, that's a lot of hours worked. Ever thought of working for yourself and be free of those long hours at work? Just a suggestion and if interested, please email me at rpelley5@yahoo.com and I can tell you how my team and I are doing it. Thank you.
Reply:I had two jobs, last year when I lived in San Diego, California.
I would do this, at costco buy a flat of Rockstar energy drink, slowly drink this over the shift.
I figured out a place to sleep at the second job for power naps, at my job it was a library. Get a cell phone where you can set a alarm to wake you for twenty minutes power nap.

Reply:I used to have schoool and almost full-time on a job. I survived by managing my time and planning ahead, but I would say that it would be really bad for your health...So you should quit one of the jobs!

What kinds of jobs can you do in the evenings?
I want to look for a second job. I already have a full-time job. What kinds of jobs are available in the evenings?
What kinds of jobs can you do in the evenings?
look around you. What kind of stores/places are open in the eveings and you will have your answer.
There are plenty 24hr stores, they obviously need people.
Restaurants and bars always need people.
Even concert halls need people to sell tickets.
If you are a nurse, they are needed.
bus driver, taxi driver, the list goes on...
Reply:why not work online by doing surveys and product trials-check out my profile and join both free sites and follow the instructions- recruiting is key- surveys are easy-good luck.
Reply:I have a full-time job from 7-3pm; in the evenings I put in 2-3hrs on the sites below. I’m currently making $500 - $700.00 a month from each site below. Once you have signed up you can refer other friends and if they sign up you can make money off them 20% and if they refer people you can make 10% off those. I have just started so my income intake is not very high but hey it gives you few extra hundred a month for doing practically nothing. They send a check every 20 days. You need a minimum of $5.00 to get a check on cashcrate and $20.00 on treasure trooper. It's also free to sign up.
